Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling-based martial art focused on ground fighting, submissions, and positional control. Developed from traditional Japanese jiu-jitsu and judo, BJJ emphasizes leverage, technique, and strategy over brute strength, allowing a smaller person to successfully defend against a larger, stronger opponent. Practitioners use joint locks, chokeholds, and positional dominance to subdue opponents. It is both a highly effective self-defense system and a competitive sport practiced worldwide in gi and no-gi formats.

Our No-Gi BJJ classes focus on high-paced grappling without the traditional kimono, using grips on the body instead of the Gi. This dynamic style sharpens your wrestling, control, submissions, and positional escapes — ideal for MMA, self-defense, or sport competition.
